Get to know the couple 

We're so grateful you’re here to celebrate with us! Many of the people we love most come from different chapters of our lives, so we wanted to share a little about how our story began. Being with each other has been easy in the best way, and we’re constantly finding reasons to laugh. At the start of our relationship, we quickly bonded over our love for being outside, whether we’re walking our dog Blue (who you’ll definitely spot at the ceremony!), paddle boarding, or treating ourselves to Sunday brunch with bottomless mimosas. We’re always finding new things to try, cheering each other on, and saying yes to whatever adventure comes next. We’ve been building our life together here in the Reno area, which makes this chapter feel especially meaningful to us. Scott grew up here, and I came to Reno for college in 2017, never imagining it would become the place where we’d build our future together. Creating a home and making memories in a place that has always meant so much to him — and has grown to mean so much to both of us — has been incredibly special. We got engaged at the end of one of our favorite hikes, with Blue trotting along like part of the plan. It was fun, heartfelt, and exactly our style. We feel incredibly lucky to have found each other, and we’re so excited to begin this next chapter surrounded by the people we love most. Guests & Plus One

RSVP Deadline We kindly ask that all guests RSVP by Monday, July 6th. Your timely response helps us plan a wonderful celebration Can I bring a plus one? A plus one will be included if noted on your invitation. We’re keeping our celebration intimate, and we appreciate your understanding as we honor the guest list we’ve thoughtfully created. Can I bring my pet? Our venue is not able to accommodate guests’ pets, with the exception of service animals. Thank you for understanding.

Logistics & Schedule 

What time should I arrive? Guests should plan to arrive at 3:00 PM for a welcome reception with drinks and appetizers. Scott and I will both be there, and it’s important to us to have time to greet everyone and introduce ourselves to guests we may not have had the chance to meet before the ceremony begins. What time will the ceremony start? The ceremony is expected to begin around 4:30 PM. We’ve intentionally built in extra time to allow for travel delays and to give us more opportunity to spend time with everyone before we walk down the aisle. Is parking available? Yes — parking is available on site. Our wedding coordinator will be there to direct you when you arrive. Will the ceremony and reception be in the same place? Yes! Both the ceremony and reception will take place on the same estate and are within easy walking distance of one another. Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors? The ceremony will be held outdoors, followed by a reception inside a historic barn. What will the weather be like? August in Nevada is typically warm, with temperatures expected to be in the 80s. We recommend planning accordingly and staying hydrated throughout the day. What time will the reception end? Our venue has a hard stop at 9:30 PM, with guests expected to depart by 10:00 PM.

Wow who knew choosing a title for a dress code would be so difficult!Our wedding will take place outdoors with a barn reception to follow, so we recommend semi-formal attire that is both polished and comfortable for a warm August day in Nevada (temperatures are expected to be in the 80s).For women, think sundresses, midi or maxi dresses, or dressy separates paired with wedges, block heels, or flats. Please keep in mind that the ceremony and portions of the evening will take place on natural terrain, so stiletto heels are not recommended.For men, we recommend dress pants with a button-down shirt or polo. Jackets and ties are optional, but welcome. Kindly note that we ask men to avoid wearing shorts.Above all, we want everyone to feel comfortable, confident, and ready to celebrate with us!

Dress Code

What is the nearest airport? The closest airport is Reno–Tahoe International Airport (RNO), located about an hour from the venue. Where should I stay? Our recommended hotel is linked below and is just 8 minutes away from the venue (Minden and Gardnerville are very close). We’re currently arranging a room block to make planning easier for everyone. If you’re looking to turn the celebration into a full weekend getaway, South Lake Tahoe has plenty of great places to stay — including some beautiful high‑end spots. Transportation Our venue is in a charming small town, but rideshare options like Uber and Lyft are scarce. To ensure a smooth evening, we recommend arranging your transportation ahead of time.

This Minden Holiday Inn is on Highway 88 and just 3 miles from the Minden-Tahoe Airport. The hotel features free Wi-Fi, as well as an indoor pool and hot tub. Rooms at Holiday Inn Express Minden, decorated with modern colors and furniture, have a flat-screen TV with cable. Other helpful amenities in each room include a hairdryer and a coffee maker. The Minden Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites serves a breakfast every morning. There is a well-equipped business center on site, as well as coin laundry facilities. Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Minden is 2 miles from the Carson Valley Museum. The Carson Valley Golf Course is a 12-minute drive away.
